One day Birdwatching
Trip route At 06.00 go to Yogyakarta Animal Rescue Centre (PPSJ), place where many activities on animals rehabilitation and if lucky may see Java’s endemic bird, Javan Kingfisher (Halcyon cyanoventris) that live in the wild arround the place. Another birds in wild are : Lesser coucal, Brown-throated Sunbird and Brown prinia. Lunch at tradisional restaurant and visit village of bamboo handycraft. At afternoon, route to ‘Ketingan’ subvillage to see cattle egret colony, population reach 5000 birds. And then go to Gadjah Mada University (UGM) complex for grey heron and night heron’s colonies and birdwatching at ‘UGM’ valley to see Blue-eared Kingfisher if time was possible. Enjoying Blue-eared Kingfisher that hunt for little fishes would be an ecxiting experience.

One night two days Bird Trip
Trip Route day one: to Kaliurang Watch tower, watch migratory raptors in september-october such as Oriental Honey-buzard, Chinese goshawk and Japanese sparrowhawk. Recidential raptors that are often seen here like Indian black-eagle, serpent eagle, spotted kestrel and famous endanger and Java’s endemic Javan hawk-eagle. Another endemic bird ‘Javan Kingfisher’ is also often seen here. Lunch at tradisional resto eating tradisional food ‘Jadah Tempe’ arroud the place before next route to ‘Japanese caves’ on Plawangan Hill. The hill is home of more than 40 species of birds such as Pink-headed Fruit Dove, Little pied Flycatcher, Grey-headed Flycatcher, and many bablers. If lucky the endemics such as Rufous Fantail and Javan Tesia are also seen and very rare bird in Java such as red-tailed sunbird and siparaja as well as Javan Sunbird would be so exciting. Kaliurang Guest houses may become a cheap and enjoyfull night rest.
Day two: start at 06.00 am to birdwatch at Telaga Putri’ Garden to see White-flanked sunbird, Forktails and Sunda Whistling Thrush. Then route to track for Javan Hawk-eagle, National flagship of Indonesia and many bird along trip. Seeing Babblers, orange-spotted bulbul, Ashy drongo, Rufous Fantail and Red-breasted parrot would be a wonderful experience along trip before took a rest on such small hill waiting for Javan Hawk-eagle. Even near threatened bird Yellow-throated Hanging-Parrot could be seen here, and then finally the Indonesia’s flagship ‘Javan Hawk eagle’ is sighted. Go back to Yogyakarta at afternoon

Two night three days
Trip route day one: meet at Yogya’s airport, then birding on Javan sparrow, vulnerable on Java’s Island. Go to Menoreh Green land on mid day, birding of cage birds and Prinias, Sunbirds, Flowerpecker and so on. Having dinner and having enjoyful a rest and relax in the night for getting better tomorrow birding.
Second day: seeking moorhens, wisthling duck, crakes, bee-eaters, and Java’s rare bird Golden plover. And then go to Sermo sanctuary, seeking for malkohas and coucal and also wooly-necked strork if lucky. Even raptors such as honey buzzard and crescen serpent-eagle seen here sometimes, as well as small minivet, kingfishers and many others. Go to menoreh green land for taking a night rest.
Third day: having birdwatching at Telaga putri garden, Kaliurang-Merapi, and track to seek Javan Hawk eagle, national flaghship of Indonesia. We would have so many red-breasted parrots along track route. Until the afternoon as we take you to airport saying thankyou and see you again.

Three Night Four days
Day One: Pick up at Airport. Birding Java’s Sparrow in Prambanan temple. After lunch we go to Wanagama forest birding Javan Kingfisher, Small minivet, Racket-tailed Treepie , Lesser coucal. At night, we back and stay overnight in jogja.
Day Two: Early AM departure to Pagak and observing water birds. At noon we go to to Menoreh Greenland (PPSJ) to birdwatch. Next destination is bamboo craft village and Ketingan village to see breeding Egret colony. Back to the hotel, dinner at lesehan malioboro.
Day Three: Java’s Sparrow observation in Jogja down town. After breakfast we go to UGM’s arboretum to watch Grey Heron colony and Blue-eared Kingfisher in UGM’s Lembah Lake.
Day Four: After breakfast and jadah tempe snack at Kaliurang, we birding at Tlogo Putri Recreational Park and Plawangan-Turgo to search Javan hawk-eagle. We back to jogja in the afternoon to take you to the Airport.

Four Night Five days

After lunch, we go to Kasongan tourist village. In the afternoon we go to Trisik beach observing shore birds. At night we go to Menoreh Greenland (PPSJ) and stay overnight there.
Day Three: Early AM departure to pagak watching shore birds. Visiting bamboo craft village and Ketingan village to see breeding Egret colony. Back to Greenland to afternoon birding.
Day Four: Early morning departure to Merapi-Merbabu National Park. Birdwatching in Gardu Pandang area, on September-October often seen migrating groups of Oriental Honey-buzzard, Japanese Sparrow-hawk and Chinese Goshawk. Afterlunch birding continue to war-days Japanese shelter track. Observed birds usually Black eagle, Serpent Eagle, Pink-headed Fruit dove, Blood-breasted Flowerpecker, Pin-tailed Parrot-Finch
Day Five: After breakfast and jadah tempe snack at Kaliurang, we birding at Tlogo Putri Recreational Park and Plawangan-Turgo to search Javan hawk-eagle. We back to jogja in the afternoon to take you to the Airport.
